I have this and just used it yesterday. I have mixed feelings.

It started up my 6.0L v8 with completely dead battery (like just a few volts). It didn't crank that strongly but it fired.

However after jumping it twice, that was it and it needed to be recharged for an hour or two before it was able to jump the truck again.

Seems like it should last more than 2 jump starts?

No that sounds correct. The battery in this model is very small (8000mah). 2 starts on a 6L V8 is pretty good.
That being said you should really consider getting a bigger model for size of engine. Also consider a model with 60w+ pd charging. With fast charging it can have enough power to jump start a passenger car engine with just 5 minutes of charging (from when jump starter is at 0%)
