Got these the last time they were on SD. The box was damaged and they had clearly been used previously. Sent them right back. Afterwards I saw in the Amazon reviews this had happened to other people as well.

For a size 8 hat, I'd look for:
Lens width: 60–65 mm
Bridge: 16–20 mm
Temple length: 145–155 mm
Total frame width: 145–155 mm
For your size 8 hat, I'd focus on frame width first, not lens width. You likely need 150mm+ total width.

update: Got the gunmetal grey lens for $7.99+tax as an extra for the car as opposed to keeping the expensive ones. They are lightweight, comfortable and the nose pads are amazingly soft and a good fit. They did not seem as wide as I expected, but the lens height looks better in the photographs than in person. It did not come with a hard box and just a soft bag though and am wondering if they will last getting thrown around in the car. Good value for the price
