There have been cases of good outcomes, but a lot of my experience has been significantly negative. They also like to take the max amount of time possible to refund you. I had to open a case with eBay multiple times before they sent the refund.
The packaging is almost always in terrible condition; even the open-box items seem used, not really "like new".
You almost certainly need to verify if these are even AirPods Pro 3 and not some fake. Just because your iPhone detects them as AirPods Pro 3 does not mean they are real. Make sure to check some YouTube videos on how to spot fake AirPods.
