This solar fan hat is meant for hands free cooling and sun protection, with a ventilated wide brim and a battery option when the sun is not strong enough. The main appeal is the novelty of built in fans for hot weather, and it can even be worn backwards to push air toward the neck. The biggest problems are weak solar performance, loud fans, and a heavy design that can collapse the brim or pull hair. Fit and finish also draw complaints, including Mini USB charging, color mismatches, and a brim that arrives folded or flimsy.

  • The hat is ventilated rather than blowing out through the top, which clarifies how airflow is intended to work.

  • A neck fan add-on can be purchased during checkout to extend cooling coverage beyond the main hat area.

  • Using an alternate power mode with a battery can make the fan work better than relying on solar alone.

  • Wearing the hat backwards can direct airflow toward the neck for improved cooling compared with front-facing fan use.

  • The fan can be too heavy and may cause the wide brim to collapse or flip down after use.

  • The solar charging performance can be weak, and the fan may not work well when the sun is not shining.

  • The fan can be extremely loud, which can make the hat uncomfortable to wear.

  • The product can arrive with fit and condition problems, including color mismatch, Mini-USB charging, and a folded brim that weakens support.

I don't even know whether this instance of this concept is well-executed, I'm mostly just upvoting because I want to encourage more out-of-the-box thinking with wearable electronics

This guy does the best gadget reviews. Verdict, this fan doesnt work well lol. Shocker https://youtu.be/iZ5X3hLLgkE?is=waFhtWFIRfJiw-AP
1) too noisy, 2) solar is TOO weak, 3) if you don't mind using battery, that'll work.

Cool idea. But I'll probably wait till they come out with perfected versions due to comments. I have neck fan and portable hanging fan which I think may be more useful because you can angle it to other parts of the body.
Also, having the fans blow in my face all the time.. I think will make more trouble for my dry eyes.
it's hard to have a perfected version of a terrible idea.

There are plenty of good ideas in the world, no need to encourage terrible ones.

Why does the product look different in every picture? Are the solar panels circles or are they rounded squares? Is the hat tan or grey? Do the fans tilt or are they locked in place? In the third picture (with the sweaty guy holding architectural drawings), what are those blurry things coming out of the fans? Are those exposed blades??Is this just AI slop?
Yep, AI garbage. You will be lucky to feel the fans or they will only last 2 minutes or they will be so heavy the brim flips down. You will not get anything like the photographs.

After a few uses, I find it hard to believe the brim will stay taught and hold up the fans well. Hard pass for me.
