Work out. Eat healthy. Don't smoke. Don't drink alcohol. Sleep 8 hours. Wear sun screen. Drink water.
However, I think this is one of the most important books anyone could read. Worth FAR more than $2.99.
Community Reviews
How Not to Age is framed as a major, science driven longevity book that pushes a plant based, food as medicine approach and is seen as worth far more than the $2.99 price. The author is also credited with donating speaking and book proceeds to charity, and the audiobook narration gets praise for its voice. The main pushback is that some of the science is viewed as selective or ideological, with a few recommendations and supplement claims drawing skepticism. A solid low cost pick if the topic and approach fit your interests.
Readers wanting a plant-based longevity guide, because it frames food as medicine and is described as highly important.
Shoppers who want a low-cost giftable health book, because the price is described as far below its perceived value.
Audiobook listeners who want a strong narrator, because the author's voice is praised as especially good.
Health-conscious readers already using Kindle Unlimited, because the ebook is included in the subscription.
People who want to keep eating meat and dairy, because the book pushes a fully plant-based approach.
Readers wanting a rigorously evidence-balanced health book, because it can lean on outdated studies and ideological arguments.
Supplement experimenters looking for oral NAD benefits, because oral NAD is described as useless and unable to be processed by the body.
Readers seeking a book that matches mainstream advice on sleep, sunscreen, hydration, and sunglasses, because those recommendations are directly challenged as misleading.

Because I'm a masochist, I've read (listened to) this and his Die book. He loves to rant about 'other authors' not following the science and then proceeds to not follow the science more than any other author I've read. He will completely disregard rigorous research, yet cling to outdated studies that have since been shown to have shoddy methodology and results that have since been disproven. There are some nuggets here and there that are valid, but mostly you'll be wading through ideological crap.
I cycle it with big breaks and try fasting and stuff for autophagy too but nothing is without risks
How was he taking it? Do you have details on dosage / pills vs injection
Of course the only major downside of plant-based is it's harder to get protein...there's only so many beans one can eat.
And don't you worry about my belly!

I swear it has helped burn scars fade a bit, I notice it on skin health and hair growth mostly …
but when I first started taking it I noticed giant energy boost that I don't see as much now, so I think I was previously depleted. It is easy to cycle off for a while when the pills cost this much and I am a cheapskate lol. But def dabble more than dive in, if a little helps you it does not mean a lot would
