I have been holding out for the Dewalt but can't seem to get ahold of one for under $150. The specs on this are similar and I was thinking I could use my Craftsman to Dewalt battery converter that I use on my Craftsman chainsaw but lo and behold a free battery is included in this deal! WOW! I only would use this occasionally as a homeowner as I am retired from construction so this should work fine for me!

Is there a charger included with either the battery or tool? I have nothing in the Craftsman family yet.
No charger. I got mine delivered same day but in the same situation ie no charger. I see the chargers on sale on eBay (OEM Craftsman for around $25. Lowe's wants $50 and that way too high!
Agreed a bigger battery would be nice especially using the hammer/chisel mode or us drilling bigger anchor holes but again I have the Craftsman to Dewalt battery adaptor so I can grab my higher ah batteries if needed.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this is just the DCH133B but in red.
I was surprised when I received mine the other day. It states 1" drilling capacity like the Dewalt on the Lowe's Site but right on the box is states 7/8" hole capacity. Not a big deal for me as most of what I use it for will be 3/8" or smaller anchors. Being that's the case it would appear the Dewalt is a little stronger?
When it comes to rotary hammer. Bosch is my go to brand. Unless battery is an absolute must, go for corded. Especially if you buying for occasional home use. A weak corded model is still as strong as battery one.
Also don't use this with anything less than 6ah battery if you're seriously drilling concrete.
