Another tool I'm sure I will need sometime in the future. These craftsman deals of the day are awesome. Another year I'll have the whole collection. Lol

Bought a hammer drill years ago thinking I'd use it once. Since then I've mounted TVs, installed shelves, drilled concrete anchors, and helped half the neighborhood. At $59, this is one of those tools you don't need often, but when you do, nothing else gets the job done.

Honestly, I prefer a corded hammer drill, especially for concrete. Nothing worse than not getting enough power and conking out hallway through.
This coming from a weekend warrior, far from a professional.

Last night it was coming up as available online, but available to ship with a $79 shipping charge. Deal doesn't seem as good after that fact. Now it's showing as sold out online and not available in-store.

A huge fan of Craftsman. I'm still rocking all my C3 19.2V tools and batteries that I bought from Sears.

These were purchased as early as 2011.

Haven't ran any tests, but doesn't seem like there's been any degradation with the batteries.

this is the exact thought I had and makes me hesitant that I will only have one use for this. for some of projects you mention like mounting tv and shelving, why couldnt using a hammer drill be suffice? trying to justify buying this!
