Lets try this again. Last time I ordered this and LED work light, HD canceled both my orders.

Update: rec'd my order yesterday.


I just compared it to my 18v version of this fan. It's the same size.
18v = 2 speeds / 5 blades.
40v = 3 speeds / 3 blades, but higher CFM at high speed than the 18v.

Fwiw I got the big fan from ebay for not much more, I think it was 22. I think the dude was just hoarding batteries and reselling tools, I didn't ask I just got my fan and appreciated it. Maybe worth checking. It may have said open box but it was brand new.

100% agree. A few years ago I got two fans and a light and all are great. I didn't expect much as Ryobi is junk, but was pleasantly surprised.

Same experience here. It's smaller than you think but does push a lot of air for it's size. Don't expect to be blown away but for it's size it's solid. Bit of a hack, I bought the fan and light and put some velcro tape on one of my 40V batteries and the top of my 40V lawn mower. I slap the fan on there for a nice breeze during day mowing and the light on there to act as a mower headlight during night mows. Bonus is that I often forget to charge my main battery and the spare is right there ready to go when I run out of juice.

If you have 40v batteries it's worth it. They were as low as $10 last year but I don't think that's happening again.
