The future that the big corporations have wanted since the subscription era began.

I absolutely refuse. So sick of pay to never own subscriptions. I hope this isn't the absolute future.

Great deal! But keep in mind that signing up adds another monthly subscription to your budget and another drop of demand in the AI data center bucket

It does not come with any game. It's a rent-a-gaming-PC type of thing. You need to connect to your Steam, Epic, GOG accounts to play (some of) the games you own.

Same. I would like to upgrade, but I prefer to keep my Founder status. Can't beat $25/6 months.

There was a deal not too long ago where if you sign for a year, they give you 007 to activate on steam

You definitely want to make sure your games are compatible. The ones I wanted to play… weren't.

Oh well, I have a year to find some I can play.

They discontinued that 007 promo for this $70 off promo. This $70 off one is superior unless you absolutely need that game right now at full price. I will eventually buy 007 First Light, but certainly not at full price.

If you want GeForce Now Ultimate, this is a great deal, one of the lowest I've seen.

That's pure misinformation. You get way more benefits with the top tier.
Such as what? They aren't functional different. 6 hour gaming sessions instead of 8 hours? They both have unlimited sessions. So you can game 24/7 with both.Cloud gsync? It's not very useful. You get more ram but it won't make a difference in game play as you get 24 gigs in the 65$ one. Other than that they support the same games.

I'm not going to reason with you, but for anyone reading this is where you can find the differences from NVIDIA themselves: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/gefo...mberships/

The downvotes on the GeForce NOW stuff is BS. This never goes on sale.
Now that they've priced consumers out of being able to afford gaming hardware (and RAM and storage with these AI shenanigans), this is the next step towards 'you'll own nothing and like it." Give the prolls some cheap entertainment for awhile, and then start enshitifiying the experience over the next decade. Forget that, I'll play my backlog.

Unfortunately I think the rampant "grow AI at any cost" mentality is going to destroy the desktop GPU market like it's destroying consumer RAM. Doesn't matter if there is a market for consumer GPUs, if the market for AI pays more, that's where the PTBs are going to spend their effort. The bubble can't pop soon enough.
