I love the idea of this but those reviews and bullet points don't compel much confidence. PP panel & pre-drilled holes are cute, though. >Installed by sliding panels that you can easily completed

Please don't set this up like the second photo and melt your house's siding.

No roof snow rating, no deal. I guess for people in warmer climates this isn't an issue, but it's a great gauge of how actual durable a structure is.

Good price based on idea but weary of the ease to construct in reasonable time.

Care to elaborate? I was just thinking about putting this up above a window in the back of my house.

Think he/she's referring to the grill so close to the siding

Looks cheap, and doesn't look like it's designed to be free standing at all. Hard pass.

He's talking about sun reflections, not the grill, though the grill next to the house isn't any smarter

This should accommodate a couple of solar panels that, coupled with a battery, will give you nice lightning at night

I was thinking the same thing but would be a perfect start to your own little solar array and not investing a ton. I tcould see a few panels maybe three and get a nice battery that stores inside and charges off it at all times that you can take out for lights or have during a power outage for the fridge or something. and then slowly start growing to try to actually help with utilities

How would I attach this to a concrete slab? Would I attach it to the siding as well for stability?

look for concrete drill bits and anchors at local store... and yes, winds will take this away or could create vibration. Best to tie it down, however also be careful and aware of moisture building up and freezing/contracting. It will break up any unsealed concrete, longevity is the tricky part!
