I've played through this game multiple times but tried it again recently and just couldn't. Not because of the content or humor but just the overall gameplay was so janky...even back then it was rough. Especially the complete lack of a fast travel system, As a person who really enjoys early B grade 2000's era shooters and all the jank that goes along with them...I just couldn't do it. Maybe I was in a bad mood or something?

FWIW, Postal 1 is still a great game and plays quite well on Steam Deck. I also appreciate how much effort RWS has put to making all of their games SD verified.

A playthrough is easily worth a dollar. It's like that scene in "Nirvana the Band the Show the Movie" where they watch a 2008 movie, it's a direct window to the edgy days.

Kind of crazy we had so many issues with postal carriers having breakdowns that we had a term for it and then it just went away seemingly completely. I guess that's a good thing of course.

Side note, as panned as the movie was, I quite enjoyed the 2007 Postal movie. Not to mention, has Uwe Boll ever NOT made an Oscar contender?
