This mini PC is a compact Ryzen 7 7735HS box best suited for everyday computing, media serving, light gaming, and server tasks. The Radeon 680M and 24GB of RAM are described as strong enough for Plex, Jellyfin, Steam Link, game servers, and lighter games like Roblox, Minecraft, and League of Legends, with support for three 4K monitors. Main cautions are the weaker 680M versus newer 780M systems, soldered LPDDR5 5500 memory, and a 512GB PCIe SSD that may be only third gen. Thermals, fan quality, and past ACEMAGIC security concerns also come up, so a fresh Windows install or Linux is often recommended.
The mini PC can handle multiple 4K Dolby Vision and Atmos streams for Plex server use without issues.
The mini PC supports swapping the NVMe drive for upgrades and customization after purchase.
The Radeon 680M iGPU can run esports titles and many demanding games on low settings, plus it can emulate ROMs.
The mini PC can run three 4K monitors for multi-display setups.
The SSD and RAM area can run very hot due to shared aluminum plate design and limited airflow, which can lead to instability.
The factory software and recovery environment have been linked to pre-installed malware concerns, so a clean OS install is recommended.
The HDMI connection can freeze the system if the HDMI cable gets wiggled while the mini PC is in use.
The Radeon 680M configuration may feel underpowered for heavier PC games, with some titles nearly unplayable even at 720p.

The current chip shortage sucks.

Any reason I couldn't use this as an always on machine that runs cloud based LLMs?

Per Acemagic, the company they used to install the OS installed this malware. Acemagic claims they had no clue and other companies also used this third party and the same viruses showed up on their devices as well. BOTTOM LINE... Acemagic produced and shipped mini PCs with pre-installed spyware and malware in systems manufactured before November 18, 2023. Just make sure you buy hardware that Acemagic used only after November 18, 2023 such as this CPU or the 7840HS or the 8745HS.
TELL ME with ALL YOUR Independent security researchers, YouTubers, etc... you could not understand what happened???? To me you are using the wrong research if you did not know the entire story.
First of all... what is your problem with China? You don't want it made in China... well you need to explain this to ALL THE US manufacturers.
BUT to answer your question... mini PC motherboards are manufactured entirely in China.
The CPU/GPU is made in TAIWAN
The memory is soldiered (probably made in China)
The motherboard is made in China
The hard drive is probably made in China.
So WHY... what is your issue with CHINA? But the best you can do is buy a bare bone system and buy the memory and hard drive you want.
