This mini PC is a compact Ryzen 7 7735HS box best suited for everyday computing, media serving, light gaming, and server tasks. The Radeon 680M and 24GB of RAM are described as strong enough for Plex, Jellyfin, Steam Link, game servers, and lighter games like Roblox, Minecraft, and League of Legends, with support for three 4K monitors. Main cautions are the weaker 680M versus newer 780M systems, soldered LPDDR5 5500 memory, and a 512GB PCIe SSD that may be only third gen. Thermals, fan quality, and past ACEMAGIC security concerns also come up, so a fresh Windows install or Linux is often recommended.

  • The mini PC can handle multiple 4K Dolby Vision and Atmos streams for Plex server use without issues.

  • The mini PC supports swapping the NVMe drive for upgrades and customization after purchase.

  • The Radeon 680M iGPU can run esports titles and many demanding games on low settings, plus it can emulate ROMs.

  • The mini PC can run three 4K monitors for multi-display setups.

  • The SSD and RAM area can run very hot due to shared aluminum plate design and limited airflow, which can lead to instability.

  • The factory software and recovery environment have been linked to pre-installed malware concerns, so a clean OS install is recommended.

  • The HDMI connection can freeze the system if the HDMI cable gets wiggled while the mini PC is in use.

  • The Radeon 680M configuration may feel underpowered for heavier PC games, with some titles nearly unplayable even at 720p.

But regarding this deal... MUCH rather have a 780M GPU. Search Ebay for a 8745HS mini PC. for this price.

Isn't the $265 Aoostar Maco a better deal? Aoostar Maco has a Ryzen 7 Pro 6850H which has a slightly better CPU mark, and has oculink. The $130 difference is more than the price of a 512gb SSD

I wonder how long RAM prices are going to be high for. For $395, I'd have hoped for maybe 32GB or RAM and 1TB of SSD.
RAM price will drop when AI bubbles burst. But then many people might face bigger issues than high RAM price.

Keep on saying.... get yourself the very next level CPU that AMD made... it comes with the 780m GPU which is a HUGE upgrade. The 780m can play AAA titles on low settings.

On Ebay there are a few that are around this price but have a 8745HS or a 7840HS. This is what I would try to buy. On ebay search "8745HS Mini PC" or "7840HS"

the M4 chip cannot play all PC games. While it delivers fantastic processing power, gaming on the M4 faces two major limitations: platform compatibility and hardware architecture.

But this PC can play all PC games... is your CPU faster on paper, it sure it. But can it play PC games, HELL NO.

And if AI is here forever... then what? Or do you think people will be able to think for themselves at some point in the future?

Right now the industry coined the term "SuperCyle" and that it was caused by way too high demand and not enough supply.

This is a pretty decked out mini pc for the price, though I'm not familiar with this brand. If people are wanting to know, yes you can game on it comfortably for games like Roblox, Minecraft, League of Legends. Don't expect a good experience though if you're playing Valorant, GTAV, Elden Ring, I have a similar mini PC and running games like that is nearly unplayable even at 720p and graphics turned way down.

While it appears everyone that's commented is a Windows user, I have the Mac Mini M1 8/256 base model..I switched from Windows to Mac years ago when my Win machine died. With Apple prices skyrocketing this deal is killer when compared to a comparable Mac Mini. So the question is moving files from the Mac to this machine which has 4 times the memory and twice as much storage which for my purposes is more than enough. From what I've read about Win 11, its superior to macOS Tahoe..is it possible to migrate data from the Apple time machine to a windows machine?

Please-- LET IT GO. You do you, and do it quietly. I told you what I wanted. Stop responding if you don't have an answer. Can I block responses from other users?
And you do yourself a favor and just never post in any acemagic mini pc if you're going to be in denial of the misinformation you're told and can't provide proof of the mythic bios malware

Not specifically this unit, but how are these when it comes to media servers, like Jellyfin? I currently have my Jellyfin server on my Synology DS918+ NAS (Intel-based), and it work well enough, providing a means to not only watch locally, but also transcode using QuickSync from up to H265 input to H264, in cases where a remote connection may not be fast enough to stream native. One of the things I was thinking about using a mini PC like this was hosting my own private gaming server, alongside a number of smaller background tasks. I currently do that with an old laptop, but that laptop's CPU is barely cutting it, as is having only 16GB of RAM. Even with this unit having 24GB, part of that would be allocated as video RAM. It's one reason I've been waiting on a unit with 32GB of RAM.
