Meguiar's Bug and Tar Remover is a clear coat safe spray for lifting bug residue and tar from paint, glass, plastic, and trim. The foaming formula and Xtreme Cling are praised for giving it time to soften stubborn messes, and it works well before a touchless car wash or for heavy bug splatter on the highway. It still takes some elbow grease, and the item was also reported as currently unavailable. A practical cleaner when bugs and tar are the main problem.
Drivers who get heavy bug splatter on the front end, because the foam loosens stuck residue and can be sprayed on before a wash.
People who want a bug-and-tar spray that can handle stubborn residue, because it works pretty well with some elbow grease.
Car owners cleaning between washes, because it is safe on paint, glass, plastic, and trim.
Drivers expecting a wipe-on, wipe-off cleaner, because it can leave a nasty film unless you can wipe it immediately.
People who want a no-effort cleaner, because it works pretty well only with some elbow grease.
Shoppers needing a product that is in stock now, because it is currently unavailable and may not return soon.
