Meguiar's Bug and Tar Remover is a clear coat safe spray for lifting bug residue and tar from paint, glass, plastic, and trim. The foaming formula and Xtreme Cling are praised for giving it time to soften stubborn messes, and it works well before a touchless car wash or for heavy bug splatter on the highway. It still takes some elbow grease, and the item was also reported as currently unavailable. A practical cleaner when bugs and tar are the main problem.
The foaming spray can loosen stuck bug residue and tar for easier removal on exterior surfaces.
The product can be used before a touchless car wash by spraying it and letting it sit briefly in line.
The remover can work well on heavy bug mess in coastal areas with frequent mayfly splatter.
The formula can be clear coat safe for paint, glass, plastic, and trim.
The item can be unavailable and may not return to stock for an unknown period.
The remover may require immediate wiping after use because some alternatives can leave a nasty film.
The remover can require elbow grease to get results.
The Amazon bundle price may not be the lowest option since it reportedly appears at Walmart for less.
