I'll give it a try and see how it does.
We're talking hot enough to cause 1st degree burns. The thermals on it are so bad that the heat transfers through the cable. When this happens, the unit will throttle under the most minimal load, causing it to become unusable or even crash. If you're going to spend this much on an Android car box, get one that has a larger profile for better thermals.
Or, you can get an Ottocast TV Mate Max for $74.
This doesn't have Android OS built in. Instead, it mirrors your phone screen or anything you plug into the HDMI port.
The upside to this is the interface will be as fast as your phone can handle. The downside is Android Auto/Carplay is a secondary function unless you use something like Headunit Reloaded (Android only) to emulate Android Auto while mirroring your screen.
However, mirroring is the only way to have access to all of your apps on your car screen.
