I have this planer and it snipes like crazy. The dewalt lunch box style is much better.

Don't buy a recon from Direct Tools for shipping because the packaging sucks and something big like this is guaranteed to arrive damaged. Factory blems come in the original factory packaging and will be fine.

Also, the reconditioned does not qualify for lifetime warranty. The blemishesed does.

bought a factory blem about 2 years ago and it works as advertised. Came in original packaging and I couldn't find the blemish.

Wish this deal came up a few days ago. I ended up picking up an old Ryobi AP1300 on Offerup for $50. Missing dust-collection, etc. But is okay in a pinch.
