GWHYFF7U still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app you might be missing the step of tapping on the arrow that appears in the promo code box to apply the code (before tapping the Continue button).

Good deal, but I was hoping it was on pre-cut bags. Maybe Amazon Prime Day will have some good offers!

You're absolutely right. I never noticed the arrow til earlier, which explained why it didn't work til I tapped the arrow.

Bought more. I've recently started vacuum sealing my meats - no fellow SD'ers don't go there - my chicken/beef etc.. I don't know why I hadn't vacuum sealed sooner. With the zombie apocalypse happening soon it's best to stock and freeze for the long haul. I read on one of these posts that they preferred the 8" vs 11". I find this opposite - I hardly use the 8". Now if you were packaging for single meals maybe this size is more useful.
Thanks OP.

If you're doing it a lot I highly recommend stepping up to a chamber vacuum sealer. Not only can you do liquids, but the bags end up being a fraction of the cost because they don't need the little air channels that bags like this thread have. It also doesn't suck the juices out and mess with the seal of the bag or dry out the food more than necessary.
Yes, the chamber costs more, but according to my math, depending on which one you choose, after 2000 bags or less, the cost difference is paid for.
I'm also much likely to throw something into a bag because it only costs me 4 cents. Which also makes the prospect of sous vide more appetizing. Something I haven't gotten into yet.
