Of course it worked on one. The issue I was addressing was about it working on multiples.

Made in China. More than that has only 10 global reviews? How can you trust organic from this small of a Amazon brand and believe it is organic and safe? Also when you check product detail. This is what we cut and pasted what is the last 4 item?? Experts SDers please explain if you know what it is Irgabuc Sitveabm Sakt- I found this online search- The phrase "Irgabuc Sitveabm Sakt" is an anagram, translating to Organic Basmati Rice.
Important information Ingredients Organic Rice, Water, Irgabuc Sitveabm Sakt

I'm getting "the promotional code is not valid" for this item.
Some group tested a bunch of food originating out of China for contaminants, and they were all heavily contaminated with heavy metals. This is because air pollution is so bad / unregulated in China that all this junk falls out of the sky onto the crops there. You can look at AQI maps of China and see that most of China has very high pollution rates, often AQI over 300! In the US, I've only seen 100-200 AQI pollution when there's a big forest fire nearby.

"Authentic Japanese miso" made in China
Sure, why not? Your criticism is like saying I can't make authentic sushi in America. I certainly can if I use the right ingredients and techniques. "Japanese miso" is a type of miso, and it could be made anywhere, including your home kitchen. There is also Chinese miso, which is generally milder. This is authentic if it uses the Japanese method of making miso. Since China is the world's leading user, maker and innovator of soy products, I have no reason to think that this is not good.

thanks, a definite pass for me. I do not mind some stuff made in china but above all else, I do not trust "made in china" food
The Japanese have no problems with it. Go to a Japanese restaurant, even in Japan, and you'll see lots of Chinese foodstuff. In fact that's true throughout Asia. As the world's leading consumer and innovator of soy products, I have no reason to believe that this is subpar. They eat the identical products from the same factories, except labeled for domestic consumption.

China has some of the draconian food safety laws in the world. Executives were executed for the melamine milk scandal and others, including corrupt inspectors, have been given lengthy sentences. It's not simply a matter of being fined in China. What we might consider a civil suit can be considered a criminal one in China. China has every reason to keep their own population safe -- and to protect their reputation internationally. I see no evidence that they are exporting stuff that they're not eating themselves. The only concern would be regional foods from rural areas that have lax or no regulations. But those aren't generally exported.
