Okay price. Would be killer if it was $1100

I rather buy one of the other prebuilts that has shown up around the 1300-1400 range with a better gpu but worse cpu. A 5060 TI, even though it is the 16gb variant, isn't anything to write home about at $1500. It should at least be a RTX 5070/ RX 9070.

With the recent deals going on, I built a Intel 270k + 32GB + 2TB + 9070XT build for around $1560 before tax.

This was $1099 in 9/2025 and 1299 in 12/2025. With Walmart Sale coming up on 22nd, we may see a better price on this.

The 32gb Ram is the culprit here for sure....

I'm looking to purchase something like this for my son's first real gaming PC. He currently has a ROG Ally and he's outgrown it. He still mainly plays Minecraft and Fortnite, but I personally wouldn't mind dabbling in some AAA titles and/or indie games, and he will likely get into other games as he gets older as well. I've had this exact model in my cart for a while and it's been $1500 for a while so not sure why this alerted me as a deal, but I'm curious if I should pull the trigger. Thank you.

It's better than anything bestbuy has brought to the table the last few weeks.
Still not a great price.

Would love to hear why AI might be wrong here rather than unhelpful retorts.
Sure, why not, ChatGPT is garbage, so that's easy. You will not see a difference between the 7800X3D and 9800X3D, unless paired with a 5090, and even then it's nominal. 2TB vs. 1TB storage, add $100, because thanks AI. The 9070 XT is 60% faster, but only $100 more than a 5060 Ti. Neither prebuilt is impressive build quality, both are overpriced. Adding it up, and factoring the worse PowerSpec case, it would be a buy at $1750, compared to this prebuilt. I also do the same as the PowerSpec for $1750, so that math does math, unlike ChatGPT.
