Interesting fact of the day, banana-flavored candies are usually based off of a variety of banana that went extinct in the 1950's when a fungal disease wiped them out and left us with the Cavendish as the primary variety sold today. That's part of the reason banana-flavored candies never really seem to taste like banana.

A while ago, I purchased these during a sale. They were stale. It makes me wonder if these sales, promoted by the staff, are Amazon's day old bakery approach.
