Anyone own one of these? $50 is pretty cheap all things considered. Wondering if it would be a good investment for cleaning the dirt, dust, and grime out of the upholstery in my work truck.

I don't have this one but I have the green Bissell one which works the same as this. This should be fine for you. The main difference you'll probably notice is the cleaning solution. No idea if the included one is any good but for MOST cleaning needs, a few drops of laundry detergent in the clean water tank will do better than the provided solution. Liquid detergent has enzymes and you can even get the oxyclean one for stains.

If you're using this for fresh stains just be careful with the hot water feature so you don't make the stains permanent

Does the machine matter more or the does the solution used matter more? Bissell seems to be the popular brand for carpet cleaners but I'm wondering if their machines are that good or if it's all in the cleaning solution they have that does the heavy lifting.
