Gets back its original release price back in 2024, before all the tariff-driven and oil-war inflation kicked in.

The Speedwoofer 10e comes across as a strong value ported sub for small offices, 2.1 desktop setups, and modest home theater rooms, with enough output to pair well with bookshelf speakers and even support a second sub later. It is praised for punchy, weighty bass, good music performance, and a wider, smoother response than some sealed rivals, while RSL's customer service and resale value add to the appeal. The main tradeoffs are its large footprint for a 10 inch driver, limited deep bass below about 26 hertz, and no Bluetooth. A solid fit when space and ultra low bass are not the priority.
Owners wanting a second sub for smoother room coverage, because dual placement evens out bass across seats and reduces peaks and nulls.
Apartment or office listeners pairing bookshelf speakers, because it adds strong bass without needing extreme gain and sounds incredible in smaller rooms.
Home-theater beginners building their first real bass setup, because it delivers an easy entry point that can stay in the system long term.
Movie-focused listeners in medium rooms, because the ported design gives more output and weighty bass than a sealed sub.
Music-first listeners in small enclosed rooms, because the ported design can sound less satisfying than a sealed sub for undistracted music.
Listeners expecting deep subsonic bass, because it only reaches about 26 Hz and will not deliver strong felt output below 20 Hz.
People needing a tiny cabinet for tight placement, because the enclosure is large for a 10-inch driver and can be hard to hide.
Buyers who want proven long-term reliability, because one report says the amp plate died after a few months and support never replied.

btw, you can add wireless capability to the 10e with this kit: https://rslspeakers.com/products/...er-12s-10e
Heck, even SVS agrees with you: 😁

OTOH, you can get a FIFTEEN inch sealed sub from Starke Sound for the same price as the SB1000, with 475watts:

One key general indicator of quality in both subs and amps/receiver is WEIGHT. That Starke weighs 55lbs, vs just 26lbs for the SB1000 Pro. The 10e is in the middle, at 38lbs.

The 12 will overwhelm a small room.
In medium sized rooms and even larger room where you value evenness I'd go with 2 (or 3) 10's over 1, 12".
Far better coverage for multiple seats and will even out room modes and SBIR (peaks and nulls) when placed well in the space.
If you have a larger space and need high SPL then yes multiple 12's, at least 2. 1 sub cannot provide the evenness and therefore accuracy that 2 or 3 or even 4 in different locations can.
Just got sb1000 pro. Love it. General use. Not enough of an audiophile to get into nuances.
