4000 aint big enough for ya? Most aren't using a low grade crossfire reel for big fish anyway.

Any of them will do for freshwater bass.2500 has 11lbs of drag, 3000 has 22lb of drag. 11lb would be plenty of freshwater bass. Line capacity are basically the same. Choose the 4000 if you want more line capacity. In my opinion I'd go with the 2500 as I prefer lighter tackle and 11lb of drag is enough. If you want something maybe for bigger species also (catfish), go with the 3000 or 4000. If unsure, 3000 would be a good choice/balance.

I haven't tried the Abu Garcia, but I have two of these and a Daiwa regal. I have nothing but good things to say about the crossfire. Can't believe it's under 50 when I use it and although the regal is nicer - it's not worlds apart. For 28 bucks It's a steal.
