I got several of these when they were 99 cents. I guess with everything going up, there would be a price increase. They do a good job until the grandchildren find them and wear out the batteries!

This is the dumbest comment I've read. By this reasoning, I'm assuming you only own one pair of shoes, pants, shirt etc. Also assuming you've never experienced a true disaster. Your multifunctioning, high powered phone becomes useless if there is no electricity. "little practical use" 😂

I have dozens of flashlights, worklights, headlamps 300lm cheapos and 10000lm cludgels. I have thrown away many flashlights that are better than this tealight alternative.

50lm is way dimmer than a phone light. People who are already carrying a phone around don't need to carry this as well.
