"Yes! The Shark NeverChange Compact Pro Air Purifier is AHAM certified. Specifically, it is tested per AHAM AC-1 standard, as noted in the product specs:Key AHAM-certified specs:
- Room Coverage: 250 sq. ft. (at 1 ACH)
- Filtration: Exceeds HEPA standards — captures 99.98% of particles down to 0.1–0.2 microns
- Standard Used: AHAM AC-1
Keep in mind that for allergy or pet dander concerns (which sounds relevant given your dog!), the recommended 4–5 air changes per hour means this unit is most effective in rooms around 50–60 sq. ft. at that level of filtration."97 CFM according to independent studies. But I agree, this is questionable.
I agree the "never changing" part is inaccurate. Is it worth it? Based on having multiple big brands, its no better no worse. Air purifiers do pick up dust. Do they make the air amazing? No.
