This is far from a deal, they've been $10 multiple times in the past, but the ratchets in them are trash anyway and 2 of my 3 broke

Last time these were $10 purchased 5 of these for presents. I opened the one I got for myself and The ratchet was Crap. I went through them all at that point and ended up taking 3 back and swapping them out for good ones. I made sure I checked them out before I left the store. If I remember right they would start ratcheting one direction and by themselves switch directions.

The plastic molding on this makes it a pain in the @ss to remove. Also picked up for $10. Otherwise decent set

Got a couple at 10 also and agree with the rest of the comments. The ratchet gets stuck and doesnt ratchet, and because the plastic is so hard, you need an additional tool to pry everything out. Removing a socket is brutal and eliminates the convenience of having the socket set.
