Last month. Got $150 off. They accepted a totally broken set and then they shipped the new one. The whole process took like a month but totally worth it.
So what if i get the giftcard that comes with it, but decide to return the headphones

I bought the XM6s for a trip last year and found them to be uncomfortable on longer flights and the ear cups made me sweat. I haven't worn the QC Ultra Gen2s for a long time yet on a flight but they feel a lot more comfortable. That was more important overall to me than sound quality.
Out of the box, the Bose sounds better imho but the Sonys with EQ tweaking sound really good too. But I'm not an audiophile, so recommend doing some searches on YT for comparisons on sound quality.
The EQ in the phone app on the Sonys was better (10-band EQ vs 3-band EQ on the Bose) which was important since the Sony didn't sound as good out of the box.
Noise cancellation is pretty similar, I'm not sure one is better than the other.
I don't have the 700s but I have an old pair of Bose QC35s (Gen 1). The Bose QC Ultra 2 is better than the QC35 in Noise Cancellation but tbh the QC35s still sound good and are comfy too. Its what made me decide to go back to Bose after the XM6s felt uncomfortable to me.
