Apparently, you can't read. This is a brushless tool. Also, if you can't contribute useful information as to why someone might not want this, don't bother posting. Useless thread-crapping doesn't help anybody.

Why did I recieve two thumbs down? Instead of providing a thumbs down, respond to my comments and tell me why you disagree with my comments. That would actually be helpful to people, not just a random thumbs down to a comment that provides actually useful information about this tool and Porter Cable as a brand.

You are correct. Porter Cable does have some brushless tools. Beyond that point, everything else I wrote is true. Why would you promote a tool from a brand that is dead? This price is also no deal. Why you buy this when the Dewalt XR is a superior options that can be purchased with a battery, charger, blades and other accessories for $100-$120? Why in the world you buy this? I own two multi-tools, have used several others and have watched all of the major comparison tests on cordless multi-tools. I also know a lot about Porter Cable. It was once one of the most respected power tool brands in the world. The company invented some of the important power tools including the first electric sidewinder circular saw (Skil invented the first electric circular but it was the high-torque worm drive saw and not the ubiquitous sidewinder), the first portable belt sander, the first mobile band saw, the first electric random orbital palm sander, as well as others. They were probably best known for their corded routers, which are still great vintage buys (I almost bought one today). I own the Porter Cable dovetail router jig, which is arguably the best dovetail jig under $500. The problem was when the company was acquired by Stanley Black & Decker (parent company of Dewalt, Craftsman, Stanley, Black&Decker, Irwin, Bositch, Lenox, Cub Cadet, Troy Bilt and others) in 2004. Stanley Black&Decker has gone on to destroy the brand. The tools became cheaply made and professionals stopped buying them. Then the brand has no proper place in Stanley Black&Decker portfolio of brands. Dewalt is their professional brand, Craftsman became their DIY focused brand and Black&Decker is just the cheapest bottom of the barrel tools targeted at people who don't know anything about tools. Porter Cable tools are primarily rebranded Black&Decker tools and some Craftsman tools...this being a rebranded Craftsman multi-tool that is simply not good. Porter Cable is a dead brand. Just check their website...there is nothing on it. Like I posted in my original comment, Tractor Supply was the last retailer to carry Porter Cable 20v tools. The reasons there are deals on these tools, is Tractor Supply is dumping their inventory of Porter Cable 20v tools and signed a deal on June 1 with Chervon (parent company of EGO, Skil, Skilsaw and FLEX, and the third-party manufacturer of tools for brands that have included Bosch, Masterforce and Kobalt) to carry Skil 20v tools instead of Porter Cable. With a dead brand, which likely means no warranty, why would you defend this or any other Porter Cable deal from Tractor Supply, especially when there are so many better budget friendly brands to choose from?

Hmm, wonder if prices will drop any more? Need to run by my local one and see what they have and if cheaper in store.

I have alot of Porter cable 20v tools. I like them they're decent. This multi tool in particular, however, i don't like. You feel all the vibrations in your hand and it's quite annoying to use.
