I do know what is right and what is wrong, but Henckels themselves have created confusion here. This caught my eye because it is a name brand forged knife for cheap, but I don't need it so I'm staying away from this due to the conflicting specs.
Community Reviews
Henckels Forged Accent is a budget 8 inch chef knife that gets praised as a well balanced, general purpose cutter with enough edge retention for everyday prep. Long term use is described as solid, especially when paired with regular honing or an annual professional sharpening. The main concern is the branding and construction, since Henckels pages are cited as listing stamped or welded manufacturing despite the forged wording. It reads like a capable starter knife, but not a true forged premium piece.
Common Questions (5)
It is a budget-friendly Henckels knife, but several comments say similar knives cost less and that the forged messaging is misleading. If you want a starter knife, it can be acceptable; if you want a lifetime knife or true forged construction, the comments suggest spending more or skipping it.
The official Henckels specs for the Forged Accent line list this knife as stamped, and one page lists the manufacturing method as welded. The "forged bolster" wording appears to refer to the bolster, not a fully forged blade, so it is not the same as a true forged chef's knife.
It sits below Zwilling's premium line and is described as a lower-tier Henckels option. One commenter says the fully forged Classic Precision knife is the better buy, while another notes the 3-piece Forged Accent set can be better value than the single knife.
It can work well as a general-purpose kitchen knife, with one owner using it for 5 years and another for 11 years with good balance and performance. Keeping it sharp matters: users mention honing before use or paying about $10 for annual professional sharpening to restore it.
Yes. A commenter found the 3-piece Forged Accent set listed at $49 on Henckels' site and $32 on Amazon, making it a better value than the single $25 knife if you want more than one piece.

Description says forged.

Edit: Not sure where you saw the description as being stamped, but here's the link to a different Forged Accent set on the Henckel's site, and it says "Forged" in the description

ReEdit: Found the 3-piece set on Henckel. Clearly says Fully Forged, and it is $49 there, although it includes a knife sharpener. On Amazon the same set is $32. Better value than just the single knife.
