Get the midea from Costco instead. It's a way quieter design and moves more air.

My cube lasted about about a year before it started leaking oil from the compressor.

I've also had one of these since 2023 with a hose draining into the sink. It works great to keep the humidity down. I had to put a fan next to it to circulate the air more through the space, but once I did that it really helped. And since it doesn't need the bucket after connecting the hose, I use the bucket for mopping and washing the car 😂

I second this, I had both and the Costco design is much better and easier to move with wheels. My cube started leaking refrigerant and would completed freeze over after two years of little use. We been using the Costco one for two years heavily. Great for drying hanged clothes when it's raining.

I have this unit (although not refurbished) and it works great. I think I bought it in 2023. I have never used the "smart" features, though.
My only complaint with it is that after emptying it, I always have a hard time getting it to sit back in the bucket right. I'm pretty short and it's pretty heavy (for me) to keep lifting up and trying again. Still would recommend though, esp. at this price.

I bought in 2023 for $119. Not a single issue since. I installed it in the basement near the HVAC drain so I don't have to deal with emptying the bucket.
Same setup for me. Bought from Costco in summer 2023 and it has schedules that cycle it on and off across the span of 8 hours every day.

I bought one of these from Costco for $160 in May 2022 and its been running (on eco mode) 24/7 in my basement like a champ, hose mode right into my sump basin. I take it out once a year to hit it with a compressed air nozzle to clean out the dust as ive been finishing my basement. No complaints. I don't connect it to my wifi.

Dehumidifiers can be energy hogs. Does anyone know how many amps this pulls?

Bought this model in 2022 from Costco for ~$190, it died after about 4 years of operation, seems freon leaked.

Not Costco. I never seen a dehumidifier that doesn't come with wheels.
