The Spruce ranks it as best overall. It's $289 everywhere else new. I already have two Midea air conditioners so I can add this to the app and it will alert me when it needs to be emptied. You can even set the alert for less than full if the four gallon bucket is more than you can handle. I have groceries as my 5% back on my PayPal debit card right now and for some reason it's giving me the 5% back on everything I order from Walmart, including this thing.

It's a smart humidifier? I don't see it in the posting or maybe I missed it.

Says right in the full item description: This smart unit connects via Wi-Fi to the MSmartHome app and is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to monitor and control humidity levels remotely.

I bought one of these for my 1 bedroom, I think it's also top rated on nytimes. It fills up every 2 days to me and is easy enough to empty. Can't compare it to other units and I don't use the app or smart features but I am happy with its performance.

I bought in 2023 for $119. Not a single issue since. I installed it in the basement near the HVAC drain so I don't have to deal with emptying the bucket.

Don't know if anyone else responded but this is a dehumidifier. It removes water. Don't buy this if you live in Colorado.

Enjoying my 2 units, one in my front room and one in a back bedroom placed on a shelf rack above the toilet. Just runs the humidity to the sink. Easy and really helps with the AC cooling. Much more energy efficient having a pier and beam house at 38% humidity vs 55% plus humidity. Also great for mold and mildew retardation.

Is the app have any information besides how full it is?

We have had this dehumidifier for about 6 years. We bought it new. Granted we only use it for a few weeks in between cooling and heating seasons, it has worked flawlessly and it pulls a lot of water out of the air.
