Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II are best known for class leading noise cancelling and very strong comfort, especially for flights, gym use, and long listening sessions. Sound quality is described as rich and detailed, and the fit can be improved with third party ear wings if they feel loose. The main drawbacks are short battery life, shaky Android app and pairing behavior, and weak call performance in noisy places. There is also a serious ownership risk if one earbud is lost, since replacement buds are not easily paired.
These earbuds work well for flights and travel use cases.
Comfort can stay strong during long wear, with no ear pain reported.
Noise cancelling can match or exceed AirPods Max for flights and announcements.
Noise cancelling can perform well during gym workouts.
Battery life can be disappointing, with roughly four to five hours reported.
Losing or dropping one earbud can effectively ruin the set due to left-right factory locking.
Android pairing and software features can be problematic, including issues after removing one bud.
Connectivity can break down when using multi-device quick switch functionality.

Afaik, the Sony xm6 are better in ANC performance but I would only consider those if you can get them at this same price.

I work in Manhattan, I like to make calls on my commute while walking in busy NYC streets. I used the over the ear ones for taking a call while walking and the caller could barely hear me!
So if you plan on taking calls in a noisy environment please read up .
full size is always better for ANC

And noise canceling is the best.
Tbh I am thinking to buy this as a back up but also thinking Bose might come up with newer version when I need new one.
