Is this worth the high price tag?

I got this grill and it's nice. It comes with the extra accessories such as the griddle, pizza stone and a built-in smoker. I feel like it cooks food more evenly with the fan. I'm really enjoying.

I agree, anything digital being outdoors 100% of the time in the harsh winters and summers will go bad quickly. Plus Weber is one of the most reliable grills.

Anything, digital or not, shouldn't be left out in harsh winters and expected to last very long. Any grill should be covered 24/7 when not in use to protect it from the elements and when the elements get too severe, they should be rolled into a garage or shed to further protect them. Digital or not, metal won't last long dealing with the cycles of nature.

$950 in stores. Just saw it today. Built pretty solid, but I'm not sure about all the electronics.

Except that is what the new(er) Webers have, digital systems that control the temp/fan. So this isnt doing anything Weber isnt already doing themsleves.

My Weber Smokefire has survived 6 years of harsh winters and 6 years of hot summers, partly being coverd when i was not expecting to use it for a while. And it survived just fine without me having to drag it into a shed or garage to protect my precious investment. That's not to praise the original Smokefire as a fine grill because it certainly had it's own issue, just none of them were weather related.

aside from having a cover on your grill 24/7, everything else you said is nonsense...
my Weber has been out on the deck, with a cover on it 24/7, for over a decade through some harsh NE winters/summers and still works/looks great. not a single issue with any of the metal of plastic bits.

this expensive Ninja... not a chance it's doing that. Ninja products work great, when they work... but they all fail and aren't made to last.
