I bought this exact product and flavor when I saw it on SD a week or so ago, and it's very sweet with almost no BBQ vibe. It reminded me of a weak and cheap knock off version of Jack Daniel's BBQ sauce. I have been using it for dipping sauce for fries until its gone. I am pretty sure this brand will get pulled from Walmart shelves eventually. I am in Kansas City, I know BBQ sauce I like to think!

I see some people dislike this sauce. I love it. I used to love it even more before they changed/cheapened out the recipe, but it's still my favorite low cost sauce. Sure it isn't the best sauce you've ever had, but at the price point, it's the best for me, and since I can run through a whole bottle in a week for myself or in a day if I'm hosting, these are my go to.

I bought this the last time it was on sale, and I tried it recently. VERY thin and runny and yeah there isn't much BBQ flavor to is, just a sweet sauce. It does taste good, but I wouldn't buy it again. It's great that it doesn't have HFCS tho

Nailed it. I tried it for the first time today, and it is definitely not what you'd expect from a real BBQ sauce. Even with habanero on the ingredient list, there's zero spice, it's super mild and sweet. Honestly, it reminds me of a sweet Thai chili sauce mixed with a hint of BBQ. That said, I'm actually a fan! It makes an awesome dipping sauce, so I'll be stocking up on it specifically for egg rolls and spring rolls.

Why is the first ingredient sugar?? More sugar than tomato puree??? And then more added sugar with apple juice

Going to have to pass

Sugar, Tomato Puree, Apple Juice, Vinegar, Salt, Worcestershire Sauce, Spices

I appreciate the thoughtful post. Thanks for saving me a few bucks. Just about bought it. I'm not the pickiest when it comes to sauce, but I don't like complete garbage either... There's actually people around here who get excited at sweet baby ray deals. 🤢
