- This is not available at Apple Store with T-Mo carrier promo. Apple continues to show $800 only. Hope that changes. There is still $35 DCC at Apple which is a recent change.

Exactly… even paying full price for a phone and not trading in you're better off with a prepaid plan like US Mobile or Mint at $10-20/mo.

So, yes - upgrade your phones and keep the plan. Even if any new plan comes and Go5G+ gets downgraded, you are set for the next two years as your discounted price is locked (just like the phone).
