I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND Ring products, especially ones that comes with lights. I have 2 of the Ring Floodlight Outdoor Security Cameras around my house for the past few years and suddenly one of the two lightbulbs on each camera started to flicker continuously every time it detects motion, despite turning off the motion detection feature in the Ring app. Like every other Ring customers, I've tried out different ways to attempt to fix this as the Ring customer support suggested. In the end, their solution was a 30% discount off the newer version of the same Floodlight Camera. This same situation has been occurred to other Ring customers with the same product. I highly recommend any new customers to go through their reviews prior to purchasing their products.

If you still have subscription and like to salvage the camera then you can rewire to bypass the ballast this way to accommodate any new set up. The new floodlight should also be LED.
I'm at five years with four Ring cameras on my property in addition to eight Blink cameras(outdoor battery). In addition to a mix of two Ring and two Blink indoor cameras. I maintain both subscriptions and have had zero problems. Just saying. Thats not including the six Blink cameras I have at my parents place on a separate account. I do have to admit that the new Ring floodlight cameras do look like some well known anatomy.

This is okay; mine's been running strong for four years now with no problems. But 1080p is nicer if this is 4k. A $200-a-year subscription is worth it if you have multiple houses with one account, not reverse-position mounts.

I've had this same thing happen to two of my floodlight cameras, one after about 2 years, the other after 4 years. Another third camera's video now looks like an infrared image.

Camera only is $89, tempted to get one or two replacements as I've been pretty happy with the cameras other than the blinking issue.

I accessed Amazon via the provided link, but I was unable to locate the advertised discount. Is a coupon code or other promotional mechanism required to apply the discount? Please advise. Thank you.
