Is this the one where his hero/protagonist is super anti-climate science? Good book, IIRC, but the climate science stuff hasn't aged well.

Essentially, yes. It's rather on the side of climate change denial, though it tries to paint itself as merely 'sceptical' of the science as though it is inconclusive or shallow, with a little dabbling in conspiracy theory style coverups of "contradictory evidence".

Given how none of the timed predictions in "An Inconvenient Truth" came true, what part didn't age well?

The whole book deals with people using weather / earthquake manipulation and claiming it's just climate change not terrorism

Um, wow, that 100% sounds like it's a tin foil hat conspiracy theory story unless there's something more to this

If leftist politics comprise your entire identity, or if you have blue hair, you might not love this book. Otherwise, it is an excellent story, weaving a compelling narrative with strong characters and some great twists.

I love how climate change zealots will enjoy a book about a warewolf sleeping with a vampire, but get all hysterical about a novel where the protagonist questions climate change.

That's the plot. They buy an earthquake generator and use it along with weather modifications to try and take over the world governments
