Don't forget coupon for $25 off: WELCOME25

Only works for pre-set builds, not if you change a lot with "Customize this PC".

I'm guessing its for first PC purchase cuz of the coupon word.

I'm about to pull the trigger. Looks like the brand is well received in the community. Parts looks standard and solid. Price adds up to roughly the same or even more.

Should I do it? Anybody have strong reason to not?

Shouldnt you also add the Free upgrade from the Ryzen 7 9800X3D to the Ryzen 7 9850X3D and Free upgrade from the B850 to the ASUS B850 Prime Plus?

I've watch their pc for a while and it's normal price with fake sale prices but if you want 5080 right now and new...

Kindy irritating when people always compare pre-builts to building it yourself instead of comparing to other pre-builds prices.

Pre-builds has not gone as high compared to individual parts like ram, specially if they are already built.

Thanks for the reply; so it's not really like a flash deal per-se but it's a good deal nonetheless compared to building myself, is that a good way to put it? Any risks from buying this? Or regrets for not waiting for an even better deal? It doesn't look like there were that many better deals on Slickdeals and if there were they sold out in 20 minutes

No risks. They're pretty trustworthy and well priced compared to other options. I've recommended these pc's to a lot of people. They also sell their products on Newegg for a higher price. For example the 5080 V3 pc on Newegg with 2TB and 32gb ram is $2799. On their website it would be around $2.6k with a $50 shipping fee. In exchange, the shipping date on Newegg is only around 1 week rather than the 2 months from their website. They also don't collect sales tax in many states if you buy from their website. I know they don't in New York and California but they do in Texas

I misread your comment on mobile. Looking up other prebuilts on microcenter and such, yeah a 5080, 9800X3D, 16GB Ram, and 1TB all cost roughly $2500.

Inspired me to replace a Lian Li 216 case with a better looking one case so I can display it! So clean with all of the wires hidden etc.

I haven't touched PC for a long time, can't believe I am this hands-on with it lately! I am about to swap CPUs between 2 machines for the first time in god knows how many years.

MC comparison https://www.microcenter.com/produ...-gaming-pc

2TB SSD instead of 1TB, otherwise pretty similar. This has a much nicer looking case though (IMHO).

Andromeda Insights are using good quality parts, so don't compare them to cheapest prices. Unless you have MicroCenter nearby - you won't find anything better (assume you get that price without tax). It's definitely not that Walmart trash.

Apparently the radiator fans suck on that MC desktop, but that's an easy cheap replacement.
