Has anyone used one of the scribes for mark ups? Reviews are all over the place and they're always focused on notes, writing, etc. I'm curious as to how they are for pdf mark ups.

Fun fact for my SD brothas & sistas

You can reset the kindle to factory spec, update the firmware, then turn airplone mode on and keep it on. Sideload your books via USB-C cable (super easy! Use .mobi format books or calibre app convert your epubs and drop in /Documents folder on Kindle) and enjoy an ad-free experience -- even if your kindle is the ad-supported version.

Get a kobo instead. I love mine, and it's so much easier to load books onto. You can "find" ebooks free online and just drag them to your Google drive and they'll sync.
I can do that with my hacked Kindle too. But I'm not sure if theyve locked it down since.

You can visit your local LIBrary and just glance around for GENeric books, [dot] around the aisles and find stuff you LIke to borrow. 🙃

I'm curious if UgleeMan will decipher your code. Nice job, plausible deniability

It's not good for markup. It can highlight and underline text, but notes are kept in a text box off the page and it will obscure any text underneath it.

This first gen scribe says it comes with premium pen, does that mean it's the newer pen that didn't original release with the first gen scribe?

I got this last time. It's the pen that allows you to highlight with a finger click and also erase by using the top of the pen. Also mine came with a scratch on the screen.I reached out to woot and they gave me $70 credit back!!!Got the 32gb for < $100!

I have been tracking it so I imagine you will see it again in about 2-3 weeks but not at this price (for the 2021 paperwhites). It seems like it only gets this low once a year for I bought the 32gb 2021 model this time last year for like $55 with the Woot anniversary. Expect the 32GB to be around $65-70 on the next sale.

LIBraries for GENeric book is always a good answer (/insert DOT here) It is IMportant to remember to exercise your brain instead of too much screen time.
