Bought this at 200. It is awesome. Most seamless Bluetooth connection process when switching phones between my wife and I. Great sound.

Sold Sonos and got this because Sonos software continued to be trash for several years

Based on what? Ratings suggest otherwise. I still have 2 of the original Actons and am still amazed at how good they sound.

This is a great speaker and I also use one for vinyl, but it's not even close to Sonos in terms of what it is capable of. If you just need one speaker and want it to look good, this is a great purchase.

Kind of mis-leading calling it a home speaker " SYSTEM". It's a single speaker but I guess if You buy more than one You could call it a system.

A home speaker would be a passive speaker. This has the integrated power amp, thus, the system. I normally don't defend marketing, but this time they are innocent.

Weird choice to have AUX input on the top. It should have been on the back. One might think it's so one can easily access the port from the top, I don't see that being a good design decision. Those that need to temporarily attach something to the AUX input could easily pick it up and attach it to a port on the back; it's not a big speaker. More importantly, those who permanently want something connected, it's just neater and more practical having the cable behind the unit. Imagine having a cable permanently snaking out from the top. This speaker does not have a battery so it's supposed to be set in place permanently.

Side note — I wonder how many people will buy this thinking it's a portable speaker with an in-built battery. Yes, they make it clear in the description and title that it's plug-in powered. But you know folks nowadays don't read. None of the marketing images show any cable. The most misleading is a marketing image of a guy having the speaker on a couch with his head resting on it. Anyone looking that image would just assume it's a portable speaker. I realize the marketing team wanted to portray a hip product with only 20-something's on every image. But it should never come at the cost of confusing the customer. Just see how many folks have asked the question in the Q&A — "How long does the battery last?". Just funny!
