I got it for a little less from Costco last year ($730 if I recall), however didn't like the look of it on my desk, especially the size of the bezel, and I ended up returning it and going with a 34" LG OLED 240hz ultrawide (3440x1440) instead.

We use similar sized Dells at work to the Samsung, and I find them great for productivity however I can't say how it would do for gaming as I didn't have a desktop at that time. The LG I got is amazing for gaming when paired with a 5070TI.

Nearly the same pixel count as 4k (7.3m vs 8.2m), just double wide vs higher PPI standard widescreen. Biggest weak spot is brightness, 225-250 nits. Doesn't hit the 240Hz of the 3rd gen monitors of the era, tradeoff for the massive screen size, though you'd need a 5080 or beefier to hope for that kind of performance on anything new.
