This is a fairly reputable brand in the OBD space.
Wireless dongle range is also very good, It makes a bunch of beeping noise when you exit the app so you don't forget it in the car.
I have used mine for years without any issues to report. I just wish they had more than 64GB of storage built in since some of the car's diagnostics like Mercedes are huge files.
If you drive regularly through any major highways, replacing the windshield is getting to be a regular tax.
It would be nice to tell the glass shop to get bent with their $200-$500 "calibration".
Fun fact: If you have ADAS and your windshield has any sort of crack or chip (regardless of whether it obscures the camera), get it fixed immediately. It will invalidate your insurance and make you more liable in most front end collisions.

This is just the information I got from my research. If you go to Autel's US site they have several authorized dealers and they have them on sale as well. Unfortunately not as good of a deal but the local support if something goes wrong was worth the extra 150 for me.
Also for those saying the yearly update is 150. I was told that you only need an update if you are driving a newer car from the newer year otherwise you shouldn't need the subscription. Example being if you drive a 2026 and buy a 2026 year model you're good. If you buy a 2028 vehicle and have the 2026 version you might need the subscription.
