Not sure why they make these in different colors, it's supposed to be dumped in the bottom of a suitcase or something like that.

Some people hang theirs off of items almost as if they think the tracker would dissuade someone stealing the item...which I think is a little silly if anti-theft is a concern. Even a thief with an IQ of 90 would remove any trackers ASAP. The addition of a tracker might even bait them more assuming there is something worth steeling. I'd rather have them not know it was there.

*If this was on a keychain though, I could see someone wanting to bling out their car keys. Those have very little ($) value to anyone but the owner.

Regardless, this is a great price. I hate the non-replaceable batteries but for $13 I can live with it since I have a couple of Tiles I need to replace.

P.S. Two pack of black is $20.99. Better price per tag if you need more than 1.

Why would anyone get this over an airtag? Seems like it only tracks based on people running the tile app or life360 network...both of which are tiny compared to Apple network of 1 billion devices

Not that you couldn't dump it in the bottom of the suitcase, but this is intended to be put on a keychain. Hence the fact that it has a key ring on it.

AirTags only work with the Apple Find My network and app. Also, not everyone has a need for the features that AirTags offer and want to save a few bucks. Also, this is intended to be used with the Life360 app and want it for that reason.
