You could sue Paze but good luck when the suit is tied up in litigation for years. Paze can ask the merchant to provide details of the purchase during litigation and the company can easily deny credit because it's gift cards purchase.
do the terms exclude gift cards?

Ouch someone forget to check with SD before they launched such a silly ridiculous program open to massive abuse. LOL

You can buy 40 and say it's not abuse. Problem is Paze did not write that clause for individuals but probably as a collective. If so, "the program" is being abused. That's how Paze can get out of this without fearing a lawsuit. Believe me, I want to buy more but when Newegg removed the Paze option, that's a red flag for now.

IMO abuse would be placing 10 orders, receiving the credit and then returning the 10 orders.
Using the offer 10 times on every credit card which is the intended purpose of this offer is not abuse. But of course paze is owned by the banks which is in pocket with the corrupt government so they would not fear pulling the offer or even emptying an individuals bank account. There is not much an individual can do. No different than Russia or the DPRK.

I don't think that you can return gift cards at Newegg

Not gift cards, but say you bought something else for $10 or more. In theory you could wait for the credit to post and then return it. That is classic abuse

Yes but someone said a Paze rep confirmed gift cards are ok but nothing is in writing.

Transactions at merchants classified by the applicable payment network in certain categories may not be eligible for the Offer, including merchants categorized as gambling or betting services (e.g., casinos, lotteries, sportsbooks, and online gambling sites), drug stores and pharmacies (including pet pharmacies), financial services (e.g., cash disbursements, cryptocurrency, foreign currency, prepaid cards, leases, loans, money transfer, securities), adult/dating content/services, guns and ammunition, courts/government fines, political fundraising, medical services and healthcare providers (not including Quest Diagnostics), spa and massage services, specialty stores (e.g., beauty supplies—not including Sephora, collectibles, fireworks, frames, monuments, magic, maps, sunglasses, trophies), tele/direct marketing (e.g., classified ads, subscriptions, travel-related services—not including consumer initiated airline sales), and wholesale durable goods. Merchant categories can change at any time without notice, which may lead to additional exclusions from the Offer.

So I have now done $110 in 10 purchases for $100 credit... all qualified for the 10x UR points. I am afraid to do more until I see evidence of the $10 per transactions statement credit. So far, no one has received any credits.
If you read the terms it states that it credits you after 2 billing cycles (essentially after 60+ days). The first credits won't hit until at least end of August it seems.

Yes, it doesn't work on NewEgg anymore. It will still work on the vast majority of other merchants that are on their list.
Getting $10 back for spending $10 up to 10 times ($100 back) on each card is still an awesome deal. Not sure why people are complaining 🤣

so you want to read the entire sentence instead of fixating on some words. It excludes merchants classified by the network. So, does Paze classify Newegg as financial services?

Anywhere I can get giftcards to places not on their list? Because their list doesn't really interest me

Sigh...

The point is that Paze has/had several ways to choose whether they honor credits for transactions. Everyone who bought in for any purchases whether GCs or merchandise wants the deal to be honored (including myself where I "maxxed" 1 card with 10 GCs). The whole point is if they don't issue credits, what is your recourse. Both in their terms and the broad experience of many users here with many similar promos in the past, it becomes very YMMV what outcomes people have after they have spent funds and not gotten credits as expected.

I think all the "usual stuff" will be functional soon. I do feel that there will be a second update because even though purchasing 3rd party gift cards is excluded one can still buy Newegg gift cards and people will pile into that
