However, per Paze spokesperson:
"I want to let you know that because usage has become heavily concentrated at one merchant, we are clarifying the program's eligibility for certain transactions to better align with the original goal of driving broad, sustained adoption. This promotion was designed to introduce cardholders to Paze and encourage them to use it as a convenient checkout option across many online retailers over time.
Practically, what this means is that consumers will no longer be able to purchase third-party gift cards through Newegg with this promotion."
The spokesperson also confirmed that orders placed from yesterday until today, when Newegg stopped allowing Paze for 3rd-party gift cards, will be honored as per the original promo terms. Per the terms, it can take up to 2 billing cycles for that credit to post to your account.

Another interesting observation...I recently obtained the Citi Custom Cash before they closed applications. For that card, it appears that Paze is unavailable through the Citi Card Control portal. I also did a product change from Doublecash to Custom Cash, and that card does show up in Paze.

Would like to get cashback instead of dealing with small residual balances on gift cards, but have never been offered to just cash out when it drops below $10.
It has to be under $10 in California. So anything $9.99 can cash out. But many stores has no clue how to do it. I got all kind of looks when I asked to cash them out (Target, Walmart, Marshalls, Home Goods, CVS, Staples etc.)
In California, you can request an on-demand cash refund for any gift card with a remaining balance of less than $15. Under California Senate Bill 22, retailers and businesses must give you cash, a check, or an electronic transfer when your card balance drops below this amount.

Since in California, you can cash out when your gift card is $14.99 and under, I was thinking of not even using the gift cards and cashing them out right away for the full $10 face value, but I've never tried it yet at Dunkin' Donuts at least.

I see this, they accept it yes, but if you follow thru with checkout I do not see the normal "$10 off $10" banner on any of the cards in my paze wallet. So very unclear if the promo works here. Risky. At least that is what I am seeing. Anyone see any different ?
