I have this and has black crush..the best angle is on the sides

Look from the middle normal view then move yourself to side and you'll see the dark details you missed from been in the middle (Which is pitch black in dark areas)...Solved kindy (Not entirely) by upping the gamma.

Anyone getting this should try it...most notable in dark scenes in movies and games cuz the brighter, the less noticeable...where you're supposed to barely see some details in the dark but instead is pitch black when viewed from the middle.

Still liked it cuz of the res/size and ok price...I mean not many 4k ultrawide out there and its 40" is a plus...mostly 34" 1440p out there.

How is this compared to the 37' 4k monitor? That 37' looks like a much bigger version of a 32' 4 monitor.

With the 40' monitor, it is wider horizontally but smaller vertically? I would have thought the 40' one would be a wider and more longer version of the 37' monitor. In a way, the 37' looks bigger? Bigger in terms of like horizontal and vertical? I know the 40' is more space but is that one issue with the 40'?

Is the 40' better than the 37' one?

The 40" ultrawide's height is equal to a 32" 4k monitor but longer so you will get more height with the 37" tho it will be the same height RESOLUTION (They all 2160 vertically).

It's hard to tell without having the 37" but both are VA...I would guess the angles are better on the VA panel since there will be less monitor lenght so less distortion.

When I posted my comment, Samsung was the only one I believe to have 4k ultrawide but now it looks like many brands are buying the panel now that it's cheaper due to Samsung been the first pusher of the 4k VA ultrawide panel.

That makes sense that the 40' height is equal to a 32' 4k monitor height because the 40' doesn't look that tall heightwise. Yes it makes sense the 37' has more height.

The thing is would the 37' 3840x2160 monitor be actually better than the 40' 5120x2160 due to the fact that the height is more with the 37' than the 40'? That is one reason why I feel like the 37' might be better even though it's smaller than the 40'?

I know overall space, the 40' is bigger but it being smaller in terms of height might make it worst?
