Moral of the story is that this bass comes to you in rough playable condition and you really need to learn to perform the things I mentioned above on any mail order guitar. Then you will be happy with the instrument. This bass is going to be a keeper since I don't have giant hands and not the tallest in stature so its very comfortable for me to play.
