$30 for new at Amazon. Decent for the size and price, but the outdated micro USB charging makes it too much of a hassle. USB C or no deal.

I have this and a JBL Clip 4. The Anker is indeed charged by USB-C. The Clip is noticeably better sound quality, and I don't have that great of an ear, as the Anker sounds less crisp. But the Clip is $25-30 more with shorter battery life.

The Soundcore 2 was released in 2017 but Anker made numerous design revisions to it (per FCC filings and revisions). They added USB-C in 2023 so hopefully the older micro-USB units are gone by now, as Anker sells quite a lot of refurbs on eBay.

Their selling point over the established brands are lower price, solid sound quality for the price, and long battery life (you'd have to pay at least double to get similar size speaker or battery life from JBL let alone Sony or Bose, as most of their under $100 MSRP speakers are portable with small 500-1200mAh batteries) without testing your luck with no-names (though brands like Tribit are as good if not better than Soundcore).

Can't purchase it, only my option I have is "find similar" instead of add to cart. We have an older one of these with micro usb but the sound is great for what it is. Too bad can't purchase this one.

You have to set your location in the upper right. Otherwise the site doesn't know you're in the US.

I have this and Is pretty bad unlike the boom 2. My ipad pro m4 can almost match the quality of this. Even so much that sometimes im no sure if they are paired or not (it does have better bass) Thank God I got it for free on a amazon combo deal
