One camera but cam plus price has doubled recently unless you go unlimited

Wyze used to be so good, but these days they are making Synology look customer-friendly.

Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) is a network communications protocol used to manage and control live audio and video streams. Often described as a "network remote control" for media servers, RTSP is the industry standard used to play, pause, and record live feeds from IP security cameras.

I bought this camera for my front yard, and for about $70, it's been one of the better tech purchases I've made lately.

I finally broke up with Google Nest after years of getting nickel-and-dimed by subscription fees. My wallet still hasn't forgiven them. With Wyze, I pay $0 in monthly fees, and all seven of my cameras record to local SD cards, so I can review footage whenever I need to. I ended up replacing my entire Google Nest setup with Wyze cameras and honestly haven't looked back.

The only thing to be aware of is that one lens is fixed while the other can be adjusted on this camera. I have it covering the street in front of my house and it gives me a huge field of view, close to 180 degrees. The picture is clear, the audio is better than I expected, and it has reliably captured everything from delivery drivers to people crashing on lime scooters.

So far, it's been dependable, easy to use, and hard to beat for the price.

I use Wyze camera all over my house, inside and out. They have been fantastic! I have only had one failed in 10 years.

What feature they have to have for compatibility if I want to connect to my Reolink NVR?
